hello! sorry i have been gone a long time but i have been very busy getting bigger!
i have some NEW friends in my neighborhood called sam and catalina. i have been playing with them every sunny day. now it is raining and sam is in preschool.

happy belated halloween! oh my gosh isnt that a fun day? who knew? we went to the zoo pumpkin prowl and we saw 100 pumpkins. we also so a big bug lady.

i went trick or treating at ten houses. i said, "trick or treat, next house!" i am not sure why we didnt go in ANY house, but everybody put a treat in my plastic pumpkin. i even got a whistle. dede came too!
mommy and dada let me try some candy called smartees and candy corn. guess what happened after? i ran around our kitchen island 23 times and jumped up and down until 11 pm. the candy has since gone missing but it sure was yummy.

i miss you and am glad to be back!

happy father's day

happy father's day! i have my 400th cold of the season but we are having a great time just hanging out and enjoying the day. this morning we went to whole foods to get some stuff to cook for my daddy for dinner. whole foods has a lot of cheese.when we got to the muffin area i screamed my head off until i got one. it was organic and i was hungry.
as soon as we arrived home , i found a washcloth and dunked it in the cat water bowl. then i scrubbed the floor with it. i thought it would be nice to clean the house for dada on this day. when the floor was finished i tried to clean mama and dada with the soaking wet cat water rag. i dont know why they both ran away from me!!!!
my dad loves the park so we are going there soon. i miss my pop-pop but i think i am going to see him kinda soon. love lily

beautiful day

we had a beautiful day at richmond beach. who knew i liked the puget sound so much? this pool is much more fun and prettier than the one at the ymca. plenty of rocks and sand for digging. summer might be my favorite time of year. love lily

guess what? i have been busy riding in my new red wagon. i like to ride with my pink cup and my friends eli and ameena. my new favorite word is "share". in my world "share" means give it to me right now and we arent sharing anything. much to my parents chagrin, i am in love with elmo. it only took one look.

radio flyer

happy belated mother's day!!! i had a great time on sunday but i didn't get any presents from my mother. we went to a lovely restaurant on lake washington. i called the lake a "bath" but i didn't take a bath. i ate a blueberry scone and threw my box of raisins on the floor. dede was with us all day which was fantastic. i dont know why my momma didnt take a picture of me! here are some photos from today though. my momma likes to shade me from the sun in funny hats and glasses. do i look like i should be playing bingo in miami?

i am sitting in a big girl adirondack chair and i am chatting with my friend cinnamon and my mom but i am not drinking iced tea.
the weather has been perfect for daily trips to the park and digging in the yard. i love my life. love lily.

hi! my parents and i played in our backyard yesterday. i like to dig. here is a photo shoot of me. i am a big girl and i can say "big girl".

i started sleeping all night long, can you believe it? the days are looking bright and i am refreshed. my parents look good and smile!
guess my mom doesnt need the $30 dark circle under eye cream she bought.

my goodness its been too long! i have been busy picking spring flowers and playing with blocks.
my pop pop came to see me not too long ago and we had a great time. he sat in the back seat of the car with me and gave me ice cream. i took him on a walk everyday. he also taught me what a watch is though i dont know how to tell time. i love him and miss him.

i went to the aquarium with my dad and mark and winter. it was so big and blue. i caught a cold from an otter.

do you like my hat? its my favorite sun hat from my aunt mary and aunt dotdot. i wear it when i am digging.

this afternoon i am going to the park to feed the ducks. my nose is stuffed up but that wont stop me!!!!!!!!!!!

my daddy thinks i look like my mommy in this picture. why?
we went to the woodland park zoo. there are so many beautiful plants and trees there. we had a great time. i liked the giraffes and zebras best. my parents were excited to show me a real live cow since i like to say, "mooooo" when i see the cow in my farm animal book.
i was more excited about the big plastic pink object that was in front of the farm cow. i pointed and called it a ball over and over.

we met an orangutan. he looked soft and i think he needed a hug. my mom said the last time we were at the zoo a lady was talking with the same orangutan and showing him a mirror. i dont remember that part but i bet i wanted to hug him then too! love lily
