pumpkin muffin
my cousin soren just had his first birthday! hooray! my birthday is coming in 4.5 months. i dont think there will be ponyrides or an ice rink but there will be cake! this week i ate my mom's lgvx4650 cellular phone. its bright and noisy and so fun to play with. yuuum. my drool broke the phone! the good news is she got a fancier lg model that can take pictures and videos of ME. we went to an amazing new diner in collingswood last night. very kid friendly and i am a kid. everyone in the place laughed and smiled when i shouted na naa yaya bababaa then squealed in delight every 10 seconds. mommy and daddy ducked under the table a little. they are so silly. my mom put a crumble of veggie burger in my mouth and i spit it right out. this weekend is going to be fun. i think i am going to go see my great grandmom and nana in mifflintown. yippeeee.love lily

hello! i have been quite busy and i am still waiting for the autumn weather to arrive. its pumpkin and sweater weather time.my dede could not come to visit this weekend because my doctor said she is contagious and my mom has a fear of germs. i am sad my g-mom couldnt hug me today but i think she will hug me soon. guess what? she sent me some beautiful outfits for the new season including some cargo pants.. everything matches and mommy said i will look like a star in my new garb. do you like my new fall hat? its reversible. soon you will see the other side! my aunt dotdot got it for me. she is so sweet. think i chat about clothes too much?
lately i am really into tasting, banging, and shaking anything not baby friendly that crosses my path. my parents are learning how to jump and grab! i love love love my new all access pass to the house. i crawl and hop around all day! solo motion is amazing. oh- i also love kiwis. love lily

think my mom is unusually preoccuppied with halloween. here is ANOTHER costume try on. mommy thought it would be fun and funny to dress me up for a trial run. big gong. i am not going to be a spider. guess my mom should keep trying to find a costume that makes me smile.... on a brighter and more interesting note my grandmom dede will be here in less than one week YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOVE LILY
sunday in the park with lily
today my aunt dot dot came to visit. hooray. we went to the park and had a great time. i loveee watching other kids play. soon i will run and jump in the air too. we went on the roll slide and the swing. we had silly fun. i met two little girls named moira and mave. they are 3 and 5 and cute! my mom took me on the big swing! wheee. it made everyone nervous but my mom and me. now my daddy is on a big trip to and i miss him. i feel a sky between us. hope he lands on the ground soon. i told my mom i didnt want to watch the emmys tonight and would rather work on an autumn mix cd for us to listen and sing to.love lily!

today is my 7 month birthday but there is no cake.
guess what? i am getting better at feeding myself! i still have to sorta shove my fist into my mouth and suck out the contents but i feel i am getting the hang of it all. eating is hard work! my fingers stick together and are tricky to undo but soon i will eat a pork chop. know what else? i can crawllll. wheeee. freedom dance. hooray! i can move around and move out! you see i wanted to get to this big shiny target bag filled with fun stuff like tissues and pens but it was about ten feet from me. so, i crawled to it. my parents took it because i cant play with plastic bags. think my parents are in denial regarding my motion but there was a discussion about going to babies r us this afternoon to purchase some gates. :) love lily

i have been having a great weekend! my babysitter came to see me and we had fun. soon i will meet her new baby, ava.
today was action packed. we went to the diner and to the mall. of course i played in my pool in between the two adventures.
at the diner daddy and mom gave me some cracker crumbs. the texture was crumbly and kept me busy. everytime they gave me more i said "grrrweeeahhh". think they are pleasantly surprised with my chewing ability and are glad i didnt choke and gag.
sandy, my waitress friend was there and so happy to see me. she has known me since i was a baby!
speaking of friends, the mall was fun. i smiled and laughed and winked at anyone and everyone who caught my eye. friends with the hallmark lady. friends with the white coated make up lady. friends with the lady at the costume shop! friends with all the babies. my parents LOVE talking to new and strange people so we work well together. i am not into my stroller this week so my momma pushed the backpack in the stroller seat and daddy carried me then they switched. this worked out nicely.

13 summers
the days of summer are almost done. mommy and i have been going to the park everyday to get tons of fun in the sun. sometimes we go to target as well but that place is beginning to bore me. i don't want to read in touch magazine and that elmo mommy continues to put in my stoller is loud and weird. i dont think elmo loves me even though he says so.we went to a bbq and had a party bbq. both were fantastic! my aunt rosie taught me how to chomp on a grape. yummy. at my party bbq, my daddy made tilapia on the grill and it was a big hit. we had some fun and danced a little before i went to bed. i hung out with my pop-pop. he is very silly and he is better at crawling than i am! as you can see from my new photos, i love sucking on limes now, but not with gin and tonic. for now i am going to sit on my watermelon blanket, in my watermelon dress and celebrate the ending of summer. my first one was a good one. now i am ready for a proper autumn. wait until you see my halloween costume! love lily

hello! i am going to have a picnic party on sunday! maybe i will try a stage one roasted vegetable. my mom says i weigh a load now. more than 20lbs!! hello ww!aunt dawn is back from her vacation. she took a canoe ride in florida with aunt raven. even though i hate florida i still want to rent a canoe. fuun!
my new favorite game is this: i take my new crunchy dinosaur toy named donny and shake him. then i throw him on the floor and laugh my head off and shake my hands. my mommy thinks this is really fun too. she picks up don and hands him to me then i do it again and again. 20x.we are not going to swimming class this fall because it interferes with my nap schedule. my mommy needs to relax!instead, we are going to take a gymnastics, i mean a gynmasium class at gymboree. i love this class and will REALLY love it when i can move and grove a little more.fergie, a bartender/ restaurateur from philadelphia, says when a baby comes into your life she is the rockstar and her parents are only the roadies!welcome to my world. love lily
