busy bee

my dede is home from atlanta today. yahoo. i am going to see her soon.
i have been a little sick with an ear infection but am on the mend and starting to feel like myself again. i got a kitty cat sticker from my doctor.
today is amazing. want to know why? i got to play with my friend eli at third place books AND eat a pumpkin muffin.
the sun is shining so bright that it looks like a lemon and i am on a citrus kick. i think we are going to the park soon.
my aunt dot dot was here a few weeks ago and we had a great time. we played and we walked and we went to the park and to starbucks and to fred myers and out to dinner. we rocked on the porch in our rocking chair like we did when i was a baby. we gave each other a million hugs to save in our bellies while we are apart. i am going to see her again in the summer!!! hooray!
when i am in my momma's arms i like to point at the floor and say " dowwwn!" when she asks me if i want a drink i say, "noooooo!". five minutes after i begin eating i like to say 'DONE!" . you know what? i like being the boss of me.

boo boo drama

i had a big day on wednesday, but don't panic. i made my first boo boo and now i can say boo boo and point to my boo boo.
i was wandering around my kitchen and put my tiny hand into a tiny vent on our stove and cried a little. my parents asked me if i was ok and thought my teeth were bothering me because i have a molar coming in. my mom was making dinner. my daddy took me to the couch for some book time. THAT is when we saw the red blood coming out of my finger. it looked like a lot of blood for a small finger. i was kinda fascinated by the whole thing but my parents acted like there was a chinese fire drill in the house. my hand shoved up in the air, paper towels squeezed tight, talk of getting in the car and an er...momma running towards the band aids and neosporin faster than i sure thought she could run. my parents might be silly.
The bleeding stopped in five minutes. dada put my hand in an ice cup which is probably one of my top ten favorite things to do. the next day my boo boo kept bleeding because i kept chewing on my power puff girl band aid so we decided to visit my nice doctor at ballard pediatrics. good news! i did not need a stitch of thread but he wrapped my hand up in guaze and my own sock. what an elaborate set up for such a small boo boo! it was funny and not too annoying! now i am fine and my boo boo is better and the oven vents are covered. phew.

duck duck goose

my momma and i went to a near by park with a fabulous swing set and pirate ship. i can go down the super slide all by myself as long as someone is waiting at the bottom to catch me.

do you know what? i am in love with real live ducks. i LIKE the ten big yellow rubber floaty bath tub ducks that live at my house but i LOVE the real live mallard ducks i met at the park. mamma and i fed them and talked to them. they said quack and i said quack back. it was a joyous day.
